24-hour Direct Transit Passengers Exempted from Immigration Inspection Procedures at Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

10-13-2015

In order to facilitate international transit passengers and promote the construction of international aviation hubs, sanctioned by the Ministry of Public Security, a trial run of the policy of exempting 24-hour direct transit passengers from immigration inspection procedures has started at Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. A passenger who transits in China from any of the above-listed airports and does not leave the restricted areas within the airports is exempt from going through immigration inspection procedures.
